Ninjas are an elite class that are masters of movement, trickery and burst damage. They are capable of disabling enemies from a distance, out maneuvering their enemy with teleportation and are capable of killing their prey in a single critical strike.
Their lighter armor is generally well balanced between magic and physical defense, sharing the same armor types as thieves.
They feature a unique animation for dodge step as well as a new stealth cast animation.
They are also the only class capable of wielding the Double-Bladed Weapons which feature the same attack style as Hand Weapons but with a faster attack speed and additional magic attack stats.

Becoming a Ninja[]
The Ninja class is not available at the start of the game and has a series of tests to become eligible to become one.
The first step a player must take is to unlock the Capital Itox city where the Elite Class trainers are found. This is unlocked by reaching soul rank 10 but you must be level 30 to enter it for the first time.
Once at the capital you will need to speak to the Ninja Trainer, Hanzo. If you meet the requirements he will allow you to take the Ninja Trial Mission which is split into 5 steps:
- Part 1 - Give 20 Ninja Shards to Hanzo
- Part 2 - Defeat the following Boss Enemies (even if you killed them in the past):
- Carley (Final boss of Underground Dragoon Ruins)
- Adel (Final boss of Descension Ruins)
- Macabre (Final boss of Roswald Deep Fort)
- Killing these three will automatically unlock the next part.
- Part 3 - Defeat the following Boss Enemies (even if you killed them in the past):
- The Twins (Final boss of Ruined Chamber )
- Zule Trio (Final boss of Facility 13)
- Aries (Final boss of Dark Roundtable)
- Killing these six will automatically unlock the next part.
- Part 4 - Defeat the following Boss Enemies (even if you killed them in the past):
- First Chimera (Statue 1.6 of Sangent Ruins)
- Smelch (Statue 2.5 of Sangent Ruins)
- Carcossas (Final Boss of Sangent Ruins)
- Killing these three will automatically unlock the next part.
- Part 5 - Defeat Eileen on normal difficulty. (easy mode does not count) (Final boss of HoSL)
- Return to Hanzo to recieve the permit
You can now class change to a Ninja by paying Hanzo 1 million gold and the permit.
